I kept getting pleasant flashbacks to the early <em>Myst <\/em>games while playing it the other day.<\/p>\n<p>The slightly grainy, low res video clips interspersed with constant room exploration and sightseeing with objects that can be only slightly manipulated\u2026  the repetition of the video and the lack of combat, inventory and currency\u2026 and like <em>Myst<\/em>, the storyline, or, what there is of it, is only an excuse to explore a fascinating environment and fill the pages of your own book.<\/p>\n<p>I was favorably surprised at Taylor\u2019s game, and I look forward to completing it; it really brought me back to those hours I spent jotting down notes and plodding my way through the island on my old 486.  You would almost think the game was made for me, and not for Taylor\u2019s legion of preteen fans.<\/p>\n<p>But it wasn\u2019t.
